How to make an icon in photoshop or use one of your photos

First you have to add a new plugin to your adobe Photoshop.
Download ICO (Windows Icon) Format, it is a free plugin from: http://www.telegraphics.com.au/sw/
Unzip the file you downloaded.
Copy the "ICOFormat" and paste it into: program files/adobe/photoshop **/Plug-Ins/File Formats


- open adobe photoshop
- go to File --> new to draw someting new, or
go to File --> open ... to use one of your photos

- choose the Image Size 100 pixels for "width" and 100 pixels for "height".
- go to File --> save as...
- name it, and choose the format: ICO (Windows Icon) (*.ICO)
- save

now you should find the icon you created.
The icon is ready to be used as icon for your folders or as favicon.

How to make an icon in paint

If you want to change the icon of one of your folders you can do it very easy. Right clik on your folder --> properties --> Customize --> change icon - > there you have a list with many icons.

If you want to make your own icon, you can do it in "Paint":
- open paint
- go to Image
- go to attributes...
- make sure that by units are pixels selected
- write 100 Width and 100 Height
- clik OK

Now your paint window is very small. You can draw there whatever you want. The background will remain black, so don't waiste your time with other colours. I don't know how you make it coloured... yet.

When you are ready, go to: save as...
choose the 24-bit Bitmap [*.bmp, *.dib] by the "save as type"
File Name: test.ico
The name "test" is not important. But ".ico" is very important.
Save it.


Now when you want to change your icon choose the icon you created.

Cum transform eu .doc in .pdf (How to make a .pdf)

Exista programe speciale pentru convertirea documentelor .doc in .pdf. Eu nu folosesc deocamdata niciunul. In primul rand pentru ca nu folosesc microsoft office de o vreme. In locul lui, folosesc open office, este un program de prelucrare a datelor asemanator celui de la microsoft. Diferenta mare este ca este freeware si nu asa de complex, am cautat azi sa introduc simboluri intr-o lucrare si nu am gasit....o sa mai caut.
Asa, sa trec la subiect. Daca vreti sa va faceti un pdf si sunteti dispusi sa
- dati jos programul gratis OpenOffice.
- Il instalati, va deschideti documentul sau faceti unul nou, cand sunteti gata apasati pe "Export Directly as PDF" ca si in imaginea de mai jos

-mergeti acolo unde ati salvat si deschideti noul document cu extensia pdf
-si mai jos rezultatul:



Daca v-ati intrebat o secunda la ce iti trebuie asa ceva, va dau eu o idee. De exemplu mie imi trebuie pentru a-mi trimite cv-ul pe mail la firme. Sa il trimiti ca si word este destul de naspa, randurile se mai misca, lafel si poza. Ca si pdf stau toate asa cum le-am vazut eu ultima oara.
